New times?

So, basically, I'm the new owner of the site, per se.

Well, yes. Jimbster/Turbo is the creator, though, so remember that, and his hard work and dedication. Give him a minute of silence in his memory.

Anyway, changes will be going on through the whole site. There will be new features, new layouts, and so on. Pokemon content, articles and information in general will be created as resources for you and the general society/internet as a whole. Generally, things will be revamped and created.

I intend to keep to the main values and philosophies of the site, and having the userbase to choose what it wants. Now that I've stated that, what do you guys want?

I have several ideas including a complete redo of the main site, that is, creating a site separate to the portal and using that as the main site. An oekaki, IRC chatroom, and more are also things I have in mind. And if you don't know what those are, an oekaki is merely a drawing board that's similar to a forum, except that you draw and people comment. IRC is basically just a separate chatroom thing, which is somewhat complicated but nice to use.

Any ideas?

Turbo was a good admin. He was pretty funny at times. And its a shame he has quit the forum.

I dunno, do you want to? I don't usually like changing site names and urls as it's confusing for the users, and usually requires a remake of the site's theme. In this case, since it was Jimbster/Turbo's site, I'd probably rather keep it as Turtwig's Valley for his sake, but I dunno, I stick to old values too much.

It's probably time to try something new, but I still dunno. It's up to you now; do you want to?

lol, Jimbster, why did you go and change the site url? I had to send a PM Mailing to alert everyone, because only admins get the email about site url changes :/

Ah, doesn't matter. I hope everyone enjoys the new site...I'm kinda too lazy to do anything right now, and lol, the theme looks like a "The Matrix" theme.
